Free Thinking and ai.. wtf?

59' So Fine!

All the flash and splash of ai will soon give way to another bad idea as it seems the tower of tech Babble is infinite. Shiny and new always catches our attention but then one realizes that like this instrument, vintage is always better! Knowledge is always dependable, like math. Nothing new even come's close. This guitar sounds better acoustically and plugged in, there's nothing like it. Something in the grain of the wood, the years of sweat poured into this instrument, the hours of studio time and miles traveled, all of those memories, all of that love produces a sound that is immediate and vibrant. A character that is unique and can't be replicated, simulated or faked. Shiny new is nice, it serves a purpose but, vintage is irreplaceable.

Which brings me to the point. I am vintage. My ears are vintage. My body is vintage and like the grain of this old wood, I posses a sound that is immediate and undeniable. My feet are well traveled and soon, some major organ is going to fail. It's inevitable. I've already been dismissed, branded an afterthought, and yet, my mind is still active, my heart is still in play, my talent indisputable, hard earned and my confidence, arrogance and attitude always available to justify my appearance. Am I hoping for redemption after a life of struggle and heartache? Probably. Have I endured and survived, thrived, and squandered opportunity. Obviously. But one tends to weigh the good against the bad and choose a path of comfort in the grey area, just to survive.

What is it it that I am trying to say? I am vintage and I sound better than new! I feel things from my experiences that you may never feel and that makes me as relevant as ever. Do not dismiss what you can't replicate. I may be "vintage" but as long as my heart is still beating and my blood is still flowing, so will this BLOG and so will my muse and so will the instrument of my passions. I'm putting ai on notice for fraud and copyright infringements beyond the law. Nobody and no artificial intelligence is above the law!
